First and foremost I got to hang out with LOT of cool people, you all know EXACTLY who you are. There was a large group of both my Furry friends and Fur-family, and it was an absolute BLAST to see them all again.
Business was a little slower than last year was in the artist alley... but in all honesty since i bit off way more than i could chew last year and am STILL working the last few commissions... so this is a WELCOME change. and I've already knocked out a large portion of what I have. (gotta strike while the iron is hot, and the muse still has creative drive.) to anyone who has commissioned badges from me, if you have not received your sketch in either FA notes or email, contact me.
there was a lot to do and i could never find myself fully committing to one or 2 things to do with my friends since i was spread so thin time-wise. however i got to spend time with everyone i needed and promised to. and even got to talk with some really cool people that i met for the first time, including that Dynamite Transformation artist Angrboda there was a lot of new faces and much fun to be had.
got to take part in the parade again this year.... let's see who can find me
i look forward to the coming projects i have to work on.
I got to spend an extra few days with some of my close friendsboth before and after the convention. Namely the people from my carpool, Familliar, BT, and prplhaze
I got to partake of a project that was very special. I was commissioned at the con to do a picture that Darkpaw used to propose to his partner. I was present when the whole thing went down and i gotta say it was really something special
last but not least, I finally got to meet a VERY special person in my life IN PERSON for the first time. I was finally able to meet my old friend Becca Bunny, Otherwise known as the Renegade Rabbit. If not for this person I would not even be where i am today. I owe a lot to her and I want you all to know that I love her VERY much. I hope things start picking up for you Ren
that was my Con in a nutshell. It left me exhausted mentally emotionally and physically. I returned home completely drained and I loved it. If you have not gone to a convention yet... Do it. it's truly an experience you will not forget.
thanks all and I'll be in touch!
